Our Mission
To improve the quality of life of paralyzed veterans and other adults and children living with a disability.One way that we achieve this is by developing equal opportunities in sports and recreation, especially those activities that enhance lifetime health and fitness.

_JAV5756 Personal Fitness

  • For individuals with physical disabilities
  • Crossfit style of training
  • Variety of adaptive equipment
  • Improves strength, endurance, flexibility & cardiovascular health
  • Sessions available Monday-Friday 9am – 4pm
Bowling

  • For PVA Members and PVA Fitness clients
  • Practices held at Mockingbird Lanes in Omaha
  • Tournaments held twice a year
  • Bowling ramps provided

group2 Youth Summer Art Camp

  • For youth living with a disability
  • 9am-Noon Monday-Friday for 1 week
  • Learn self-expression through various art mediums
  • Opportunity to develop new friendships in a fun environment
  • Taught by a PVA Member and UNO art education student
Quad Rugby

  • For young adults who use a manual wheelchair
  • Recreational and competitive play
  • Promotes teamwork and strategic planning
  • High energy

  • For PVA Members and Veterans living with a disability
  • Safety course required
  • Equipment provided
